Divination Experiment

Test whether divination works in one run: lock a candidate from your chart, then compare it with an outcome drawn at random across six charting methods.

Purpose

This page uses a random draw to test whether divination holds up.

Cast the chart, write one reading, then lock one candidate.

The outcome is drawn at random. A match counts as one hit.

The Two Modes

Two modes set when the outcome is drawn. The draw itself is random either way.

Predict first, randomise after draws after you lock. Result already drawn, hidden from you draws at creation.

The draw ignores the chart and the reading written.

The Draw and the Baseline

Candidates appear on the page: 2 for odd or even, 6 for a dice face. Colour and card suit each give 4.

Picking one image from a set uses 4, 6 or 8 candidates. The chance rate is one over the candidate count.

Two options hit 50% by chance, four hit 25%. Six hit about 16.7%, eight images 12.5%.

What the Statistics Count

The statistics page counts only your own completed sessions. Rows split by mode, art and type.

Qimen runs stay out of the Liu Yao row. The two modes never merge into one rate.

Each row uses the candidate count of its own group. A handful of runs swings the rate.

FAQ

Does divination work?

A hit means the locked option matches the outcome drawn at random. The rate describes that, not whether any art works.

Can anything change after locking?

No. Locking fixes the notes, the reading and the chosen option together. The session opens read only afterwards.

Who can open my session?

A public session is readable by anyone holding its link. A private one opens only for you. There is no list of sessions; the link is the only way in.

Is the chart kept?

Locking stores that casting, so the same chart opens later. Open the full chart goes to its result page.

Do I need to sign in?

Creating a session and reading your own need sign in. The emailed code is entered once.
